1 year fixed-term contract while pursuing my Master's Degree in NUIG.Working as part of the Service Desk team in NUIG Information Solutions and Services, my duties included:• Providing advice and assistance to student and staff users of ISS systems and services• Recognising and alerting designated personnel to potential irregular activities representing potential issues • Acting as a customer facing representative for ISS in the intake, handling, recording and tracking of support calls to the Service Desk, escalating issues as necessary • Working with colleagues in the Service Desk and elsewhere within ISS to ensure timely and effective resolutions to customer queries raised through the Service Desk • Creating and maintaining support documentation on systems and services provided by ISS • Creating and editing pages on the university website - this included leading meetings involving senior staff members• Processing and handling highly sensitive and confidential student examination answers
