Understanding the phrase "a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one," I realised the value in having a wide set of marketing skills and how this can maximise a marketing budget - bringing design, branding, SEO, paid social, content creation, training, email marketing and marketing systems in-house. This led me to establish my freelance business, KWH Marketing.Alongside my earliest marketing role, I pursued a BA (Hons) in Marketing with Advertising Management, expanding my knowledge and understanding of what great marketing requires. I delved into strategy and marketing planning, questioning if I’d like to specialise in these areas.Early in my career, I was learning very quickly and was swiftly promoted to Marketing Manager, regularly receiving special recognition from my company. At university, I graduated at the start of the pandemic with First Class Honors and received the Dean's Prize for Most Outstanding Student.As a marketer, I've gained over 6 years of experience, including 5 in management. I appreciate the creativity, variety and strategic thinking my career allows.After some significant life changes, I sought meaningful projects and experiences to enrich my life which led to seek coaching, travel, volunteering, and most recently, participating in the London Marathon. I'm open to marketing and communications roles in technology, travel, or wellness, emphasising experiences, well-being, and inclusivity. Companies like Joe and the Juice, Headspace, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and Apple are of particular interest to me. I'm also very interested in opportunities that would allow me to live in the USA or travel with work.
