👋 Hello! I'm Kieran, I've been writing software since I was a kid, and have now been doing it professionally for over 13 years. I love the challenge that tackling technical problems provides, and the joy of taking something from an idea to a solution that you can actually use.🖥️ My technical background is varied, working across the full software stack, on products from their initial ideas to multi-region rollouts. I've built small proof of concepts to show off new ideas to customers, and massive cloud systems able to route 1000s of concurrent calls.🏢 I've spent many years in professional services, building bespoke solutions for large customers such as Ford, Citi Bank, Wells Fargo and ADP. Working with whatever systems the customer has meant that I've had exposure to many different frameworks and methodologies, and am great at adapting my tools to the situation.💡 Why do I want to keep programming? Every day I have a new puzzle to solve, something new to think about and work through. It keeps me learning and challenging myself. What's not to love?! The tech world changes almost daily, so I can't see myself getting sick of it any time soon!🎲 In my free time, I'm a director of the Cardiff Hackspace - a community workshop where members make incredible things, and an avid player of Go - an ancient board game🔗 Let's connect!
