As CEO Public Relations, Government Relations, Experiential and Design for WPP AUNZ, Kieran oversaw 10 agencies within the WPP AUNZ group including: Barton Deakin, Cannings, Hawker Britton, Hill + Knowlton, opr, Landor, Geometry, Maverick, The Origin Agency and Phuel. She was also the Leadership Team sponsor for 1 Kent Street which focused on client and agency collaboration across 14 agencies in WPP AUNZ.Kieran is an acknowledged expert in corporate thought leadership and issues and crisis management. Kieran was actively involved in client campaigns and advised at the most senior levels. During her tenure, her teams have won more than 30 international awards for client campaigns.

Raiz is a first of its kind Australian, mobile-led, financial services business offering customers an easy way to regularly invest either small or large amounts using its micro-investment platform available via the app or website. Raiz’s model is centred on breaking down the barriers to investing, giving customer’s confidence in their finances and offering products driven by their needs. Raiz was awarded Australia’s Investment Innovator of the Year at the 2018 FinTech business Awards for the 2nd time running.

At the start of 2018 Richard Brett was appointed to the role of CEO for opr (formerly Ogilvy PR Australia) and Kieran took on the position of Chair for the Group. This role was in addition to the role as CEO for WPP's Group of PR and GR Companies in Australia and New Zealand.

As CEO, Kieran headed up Australia’s largest public relations and public affairs consultancy and was responsible for driving senior client engagements, overseeing client service, talent and financial management. She combined strategy and creativity to help clients use communications to build their reputations, market their products and services, advance their interests and take advantage of opportunity.

Kieran was Managing Director of Howorth Communications, part of opr (formerly Ogilvy PR Australia) and the country's largest technology public relations agency for four years. She managed 35 staff and was actively involved in the campaigns for clients including Telstra, Citrix Systems, Toshiba, CSC Corporation and BBC Worldwide. She also managed the Microsoft account for three years.In that role Kieran was part of the senior leadership team reporting to the Ogilvy PR Australian Managing Director. In this role, she was responsible for the entire Group's marketing activities (including events, SEO and website, thought leadership and PR). She has also created the NextGen Leaders program (objectives, curriculum and execution) to develop creativity, strategic thinking, team work and management skills in the senior teams from across Pulse, Parker&Partners, Impact, Howorth, OgilvyHealth and STW owned, Cannings.

Kieran joined Howorth in a newly created role as a "managing director in waiting" following the earn-out by the Howorth founders. In this role, she was responsible for the repositioning of Howorth (including new products and services, the creation of methodologies, as well as the marketing of the agency). She introduced a client service charter client, focused client satisfaction methodologies and drove new business. During this time, she also took complete responsibility for the management of the Microsoft account. Her role was to gear the agency up for a post founder era.

Kieran served on the board of Firefly Communications for eight years. She joined the company in 1992 when it had a staff of 15 and made a huge contribution to the growth of the business. The company grew to more than 100 people and had operations in England, Scotland, France and Germany and in 2002 had revenues in excess of £8 million. Kieran directed programmes in four major areas: technology (Fujitsu Services, Oracle Corporation, Apple Computer, Sema Group plc); telecoms (Motorola, Avaya, Hutchison 3G , Cable&Wireless, Mitel Telecom); media (CNN, VNU, Conde Naste, IPC, The Dating Channel); and consultancy (Deloitte Consulting, Schema, Andersen and KPMG). Her new business hit rate in the last two years at Firefly was more than eight-five percent. At the time of Kieran's departure (August 2002), she had a client portfolio of more than £1.8 million and an enviable client retention record.She was also responsible for the company's marketing services programme (including proactive new business) and managed Firefly design and creative services.

Prior to moving to the UK, Kieran was an account director with Communication Solutions Australia where she worked on the Apple Computer and Australian Telecom accounts. She managed the day to day media liaison, product launches and major events for both companies.

Kieran spent three years working for one of Australia's largest charities for children and young adults with disabilities. As a one person PR department, Kieran managed all activities associated with the charity including speech writing, the writing and production of the annual report, newsletter editorial and production, events and media liaison.
