Hello! I am a versatile freelance writer and editor, skilled in academic, technical, NGO, and creative settings. I'm equally adept at planning efficiently and improvising to adapt to unexpected situations. Warm and relaxed with people, I'm a good listener, and an excellent communicator of new and complex concepts. As a content writer, I have written for the political charity Make Votes Matter, supporting proportional representation in the UK. As an editor, I have worked on reports for the UN, as well as academic PhD editing. As a playwright, I have created and performed interactive play/recitals for the Aldeburgh Festival and Samling Arts. I am currently looking for remote work to complement my portfolio career, and to share my passion for language and storytelling.In my opera singing life, I have performed principal roles with The Royal Opera House, Garsington Opera, Longborough Festival Opera, English Touring Opera, IF Opera, VOPERA, and Festival Opera NZ. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, and previous Young Artist with Britten Pears Arts, Independent Opera, Verbier Festival, and NZ Opera. Winner of SING FINZI 2022, International Handel Competition finalist, Wigmore Hall International Song Competition semifinalist and Royal Overseas League prizewinner. I have performed solo at the Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace, as well as across Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Islands.
