CurrentAs part of the Stanford Neurological Assessment Platform (SNAP) project, I am collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop an innovative, patient-friendly neurological assessment kit integrated with a telemedicine platform. I work with the sensation unit, developing technological assessments for the nervous system’s ability to perceive and interpret sensory stimuli, including touch, pain, temperature, vibration, proprioception, and two-point discrimination. My role includes:- Designing and integrating sensors and hardware (e.g., Bluetooth modules, accelerometers, force sensors, solenoids) to collect patient data remotely.- Programming and managing embedded systems for real-time signal processing and data acquisition, utilizing platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi.- Developing and optimizing code in Python for accurate data analysis and communication within the telemedicine framework.
