Greetings! I am Kierra Cooper, a third-year junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child Development at Florida State University. Throughout my journey of college within my major I have learned to involve my well-being around children. I am a passionate and dedicated professional with over 5 years of experience working with children. I am currently employed as a nanny with Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency, while pursuing my studies at Florida State University. My strong communication and problem-solving skills have allowed me to build meaningful relationships with children and families, creating a positive and supportive environment for growth and development. In addition to my role as a nanny with Twinkle Toes and a full-time student at Florida State University, I have diverse experience working with children. I have coached cheerleading for children ages 6-12, where I developed skills in leadership, teamwork, and fostering a positive environment for young athletes. My role involved teaching essential cheerleading skills, promoting team spirit, and encouraging physical fitness.Furthermore, I have experience as a Student Assistant with Leon County Schools, supporting teachers and staff in creating a productive learning environment. In this position, I gained hands-on experience in classroom management, assisting with educational activities, and working with children of various ages and needs.With a deep interest in child psychology and behavior, my goal is to become an Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist or Child Psychologist. I am committed to helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
