I’m a very fluid person. I like to fantasize about fashion and it’s effect on the world. My experience in the industry ranges from interning with TKO Evolutions in ready to wear menswear to bridal alterations. Designing is in my nature. Learning predominantly womenswear in college, I taught myself how to construct menswear by learning how to draft patterns and learning fit properties. However, post grad, I’ve been learning more about myself and my creativity. My creativity isn’t something I use when needed yet neglect otherwise. I’ve realized that my creativity is me. By that I mean, whether I need to fulfill a project by a deadline or I’m trying to tell a bride that maybe she’ll need more alterations than she presumed, I’ve learned how to use the fundamentals of fashion and design in my everyday life. As I’ve experienced so much since college, I’ve realized the light inside myself that others have seen and I want to express that to the world. Whether it’s through designing, styling, or being the creative director (which is ultimately my dream, is to direct creatively for the masses) I know where I’m going. With my determination, strength, and confidence, there’s nothing I can’t do!
