I am the team supervisor for the diabetes self management training program. I oversee daily operations, implement improvement processes, implement standard work, and conduct team training. I also report to governing agencies such as the HSCRC and the American Diabetes Association.

Meritus Diabetes Education

At Meritus Diabetes Education, I manage all incoming referrals and schedule patients. I facilitate all education classes both virtual and in person. I assist with any necessary clerical duties required.

When I started at Meritus Pediatric and Adult Medicine, I worked the front desk answering phones and checking in patients. I was soon cross trained to cover for the referral specialist, the phone room, and medical records. Before leaving I was offered a shift lead position that I did not pursue.
