I am a committed, creative and highly effective communications professional with experience in senior consultancy, national and local government, the NHS and broadcast journalism.As a senior communications and engagement manager for NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW), I develop and deliver creative, strategic communications for a range of NHS organisations, and design and manage engagement programmes with patients, professionals and the public. Previous roles as a director at Spirit Public Relations in my adopted home city of Bristol, and managing the PR, consultation and engagement team for Bristol City Council, mean I am also an experienced team leader with a strong understanding of the political and socio-economic landscape in the region.A former broadcast journalist for BBC and independent local radio, I have an avid interest in people and communities, an eye for a story and the ability to target material to specific audiences.
