Both my studies and employment with Illinois State University have imbued me with practical and innovative knowledge. I am grateful for the transferable skills and professional connections I have made during my time at the institution.My passion for writing has extended into over a decade of research and experience in the field. I have written full novel drafts in the fiction genre, and continue to broaden my horizons in my studies as an English major by learning techniques for nonfiction and technical writing.Creativity is a major strength for me, not only writing wise, but design wise. I hold a state title awarded by IHSA in 2021 for infographics and a national title awarded by the Journalism Education Association in 2019 for logo design.
