I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University - Cascades in March 2019. Since then, I've applied my expertise in government administration and private industries. Currently, I serve as the Accounting Specialist at Terra Nova Nurseries, a globally-operating agricultural business specializing in plant breeding.In my role, I handle both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable responsibilities as the sole Accounting Specialist. Additionally, I've recently taken on payroll duties, further expanding my expertise. Beyond financial duties, I collaborate with HR for employee onboarding and training, liaise with shipping and sales teams to streamline processes, and spearhead various project management tasks, including organizing milestone events like our 30th Anniversary and holiday celebrations.My multifaceted role allows me to cultivate positive relationships across departments, a facet of my work that I find particularly rewarding. Moving forward, I aim to advance my career in finance and accounting, leveraging my affinity for numbers and problem-solving to drive success in my field. I'm deeply passionate about finance and grateful for the opportunity to apply my accounting skills daily.
