Since starting at Formisimo I've become pretty experienced with Python and started answering questions on StackOverflow about Python. This was due to the company starting Nudgr.io, which uses Machine Learning to predict exit intent, from this I've learnt basic concepts around machine learning and have experience with Random Forest.I'm heavily involved in both the frontend and backend design of Formisimo. Some days I'll be working on our Rails app other days I'll be planning and designing microservices for part of the product and other days I'll be creating react components for our customer-facing services. Day to day I use a lot of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS, ELB/ALB, Kinesis, Route53, RDS/Aurora, SNS and many more. Along with these, I regularly use Ruby, Node.JS, ES6, React and have recently started learning Go. A big part of my job is knowing and picking which language will be best for the task at hand and not being afraid of trying something new. -
