The City of Rancho Cordova officially incorporated on July 1, 2003, becoming the 478th city in the State of California. Located in the eastern part of Sacramento County, Rancho Cordova is a community with a rich history including the first 12 miles of railroad in California, a thriving military base in its time, and the home of a successful aerospace company.My work at the City of Rancho Cordova is focused on creating content, campaigns, and electronic resources for residents, businesses, and city partners. What I get to do every day:• Produce videos, graphics, and publications promoting the city's key messaging and principles.• Collect, maintain, and organize documents and digital media on the City’s website as well as on the City’s offline shared drive.• Provide direct support to the Communications Director and Communications Officers with content creation, research, and various administrative tasks.
