Current• Designed, developed and maintained a fiscalization application, using Go, to minimize fraud and meet taxcompliance in the Hospitality and Fuel industries in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.• Designed, developed and maintained an online order aggregator that sends orders to point of sale systemsto reduce restaurant order preparation time using Go. Integrated online ordering platforms include: UberEats, Glovo, Bolt Food, Piki and Duka Direct.• Implemented CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, linting, generation of release artifacts, and deployments;to reduce deployment time, chances of regressions, and manual errors.• Maintained version control of projects using Git, managing releases and providing access to them via aninternal portal using Github REST APIs.• Developed and maintained extensions to MICROS POS Systems to allow merchants to augment theirfunctionality and integrate to external systems that handle their loyalty programs, fiscalization and paymentprocessing.
