Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for learning about nature and conservation. From completing a middle school science fair project on how tree branches can be used to filter water to completing a research project on how climate change affects lobster migration in college, I have never lost my passion for learning about the environment and how to potentially solve its problems. Another topic that I am enthusiastic about is design. Although many aspects of design interest me, designing with CAD is the aspect I could see myself working with the most. I have taken multiple AutoCAD-centered classes and have thoroughly enjoyed working with the software. In my future career, I would like to work with both the environment and design in order to create sustainable buildings and landscapes that improve quality of life while not diminishing the surrounding ecosystems. I am an enthusiastic college student looking to gain experience in environmental science and urban planning.
