About Karen Snyder

Hi there! I'll help you win big business and influence decision makers with executive social listening dossiers. Get insights into an exec’s personality, thoughts, strategies, and the company’s overall direction. Win them over with meaningful and productive engagement. I connect the dots and derive meaning from MISSING information...something AI can't do (YET!)I'm a trendspotter: from the Internet to social media to social listening, to AI...Trapped in my mom's house during a snowstorm in 1996, I was inspired by AOL chat rooms that allowed me to connect with people all over the world. Her phone bill was over $200 that month. I landed a job in the AOL Greenhouse working for Ted Leonsis. I later got laid off from AOLTV in a room full of 30 other people. (It became AOL folklore...a horror story!) In 2005, VeriSign acquired an RSS feeds company. "What's a blog?" I said. I was hooked...regular people could have a say on the Internet! In 2007 I attended the Web 2.0 conference and became a passionate evangelist for the power of social media, laying the groundwork for VeriSign's social media program. In 2010 I launched the social media program for the FAA and doubled their social following year over year, with zero ad spend. I saved them hundreds of thousands in ad agency fees by demonstrating the impact of in-house digital marketing campaigns. My passion for leveraging data-driven insights to captivate busy execs led me to the next chapter of my career; social media analytics and social listening. Using AI-powered social listening tools, I brought social media insights to life through data analysis and storytelling. Insights from social listening guided brand strategy, product decisions, demand forecasting, and investments in infrastructure. In 2022, IPG hired me to assist with their "proactive prospecting" (Account-Based Marketing - ABM) efforts. I profiled key decision makers to help the company win the GEICO, Pfizer, Prudential and Papa John's and Walgreens accounts. I leveraged AI tools to surface affinities, intelligence and business challenges to unlock new agency growth.Tap into my intuition and mad research skills: don't risk bombing that big meeting!Specialties: Account-based marketing (ABM), Executive dossiers, social listening and insights, executive communications and briefings, communications strategy, media monitoring and analysis, data analysis, data visualization, analytics
