Ferropan is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company in Abu Dhabi, UAE which provides tank/sphere/pipe services & etc.It is very challenging for me because I need to deal with engineers and technical personnel. The difference with my course and my job did not stop me. It let me learn a lot of stuffs from engineering to communicating with other nationalities. As an Operations Secretary, I handled document control and preparing/making technical documents & reports. It was also part of my job to follow-up our personnel at site for updates/problems they encountered on daily/weekly basis. My Technical & Operations Manager was very understanding and helpful to me during the transition/adjustment period of my job. I am also an ICT Staff at the same time. I handled web development, hardware/software management and network administration. It was like my first job but with newer system to explore. I am also directly communicating with ICT providers in behalf of the company.

I came back to freelancing/outsourcing projects. My old clients gave me new projects. I did some Virtual Assistant jobs. But still, I was able to learn from these experiences. I did not stop with my old clients. I looked for new ones so that I could enhance my skills and broaden my knowledge.

The company is owned by two (2) US Citizens. The nature of the business is to make systems/websites that could be used by companies/corporations in their operations.Since I already had experience on back-end processes, the owner assigned me to manage the server and develop scripts/code that could monitor the servers' performance. Therefore, I had more in-depth experience resolving server issues. Not only that, the owner gave me scenarios and let me develop more technical systems that could solve the problem or to stop the cause from happening.

Scriptlance.com is website where clients and providers (developers/designers/VAs/etc) meet. Clients post their projects and providers bid for the price and duration for the project to complete.The first job I took was data-entry just to try my luck in the online world. It was a bit tiring and boring task because I just need to copy-paste records but it tested my patience and my will to finish what I started. After that job, I took challenging programming (front-end & back-end) jobs to enhance my skill and knowledge in the field that I chose and love. From there, I was able to explore, understand the behaviour, use & manage the could servers. I also learned that online technical support was not that hard. If they could not follow the instructions you are giving, you could just remote access it to solve the problem.

The company is a BPO based in Davao City, Philippines. The nature of the business is chat support that caters international clients. As a technical staff, I am the one who was responsible for network administration, hardware/software troubleshooting, system updates, etc. I was able to experience & explore systems/software from windows desktops/servers to linux desktops/servers. In short, I handled all matters related to computers.
