Job Description:•Coordinates and communicates with Control Room Engineer in plant start-up, shutdown, system abnormalities and emergency shutdown of boiler, turbine-generator and its auxiliary equipment based on the established Standard Operating Procedures. •Ensure the safe, reliable and economic operation of the plant as well as equipment safeguarding and improving plant availability, environmental performance and ensuring to meet generation targets under all conditions.•Ensures that all major and auxiliary system equipment are kept in normal operating conditions and within equipment parameters.•Coordinates with Control Room Engineer during actual change-over of major plant equipment & system auxiliaries in accordance with the established routine schedule activity to ensure all are in good working conditions.•Fills-up log sheets and take readings at pre-determined interval in each shift from human machine interface (HMI), process meters and gauges (vibration, current, voltage, temperature, pressure, flow, level) and all other instruments outside of the central control room.•Reports promptly and informs the Control Room Engineer & Shift Supervisor for any system deviation and abnormalities (defective valves and gauges, leaking and local alarms) and initiates initial assessment and/or troubleshooting of malfunctioned equipment during operation.•Closely coordinates with Control Room Engineer in performing electrical isolations (Medium/ Low Voltage Motor Control Center, Local Control Panel), mechanical isolations (manual isolation valves) and apply Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO).•Communicates with Control Room Engineer in performing electrical and mechanical deisolation and removal of applied Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO).•Assist in the implementation of the plant policies, SOP’s, safety procedures, excellent housekeeping, energy conservation guidelines and environmental policies and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities • Supervised eighteen (18) surveyors in overseeing the quality and quantity being loaded at load port to vessel are of Petron Standards. • Assisted in oil loss mitigation and cargo security of the vessel. • Attended to loading operations of barges and vessels at supplier's load port/depot as company representative. • Maintained the three important things to remember the quality, quantity and also safety of the product. • Coordinated with other Depot/Terminal Managers and Supervisor in oil loss mitigation.
