Founding member of Cyan’s SDN/NFV team, which was in charge of the next-generation product development in the company. Designed and developed major parts of the Planet Orchestrate software using scalable micro-service architecture and model-driven approaches for network, cloud, and NFV orchestration workflows. This software solution later becomes the core of Ciena's Blue Planet Orchestration portfolio.

Senior developer and project lead of OPNET's Network Planning solutions. Designed and implemented algorithms to accurately simulate, analyze, and optimize Layer-2/Layer-3/MPLS protocols and IP/Ethernet traffic flows in models representing real-life networks to provide performance studies under various what-if cases. Worked closely with clients in modeling and analyzing large-scale service-provider and datacenter networks using OPNET tools, and provided suggestions on best approaches for workflows such as multi-layer survivability, capacity/QoS planning, MPLS/VPN analysis, traffic/network engineering, and BGP peering optimization.

Designed and implemented automatic testing framework and testing harness for IBM Tivoli products (Tivoli Monitoring framework and agents, Tivoli Enterprise Console), using Java, IBM Rational Tester suite, and Perl.
