Workplace Wellness
CurrentI collaborated with Managing Director in North America to create a remote workplace wellness program that supports all employees to connect with one another, de-stress and energize about their work. It became quickly apparent that the Weston + Williamson Team work hard to balance their clients and expectations and their own capacities. I'm passionate about promoting employee well-being and fostering a culture of mindfulness and connection in the workplace. At Weston + Williamson, I understand that employees need a safe and supportive space to express themselves, and that's why I've created a unique meeting experience that encourages just that. By incorporating mindful and intentional movements, meditation, and breathing techniques into the meeting, I'm able to take employees on a journey of self-discovery, enabling them to achieve a sense of calm and stillness. Integrated into their workday, it provides that necessary pause to remember they are humans too, that deserve time to digest, rest and reset. The debrief period at the end of each session provides an opportunity for employees to share their experiences, observations, and feelings with each other, supporting and uplifting each other with self-compassion and kindness. Furthermore, I'm committed to making this experience accessible for all employees, which is why I've recorded and posted the practice portion of the meeting on a private YouTube channel, along with extended bonus classes. I'm honoured to provide Weston + Williamson's Mindful Meeting Lead Format, and it's my hope that this meeting experience will contribute to a more positive, connected, and mindful workplace culture.
