Payroll And Hr Administrator
CurrentPrepare, coordinate, and administer full cycle payroll for 150 plus employees in accordance with the Steel Union collective agreement and internal policies. Ensure all information is accurate, complete, and on time through time card adjustments, calculations, review 100% of the time.Assist employees with any payroll related inquires through investigation and clear communication. Develope and align employee and personelle perception in accordance with collective agreement rules and company policies.Build strong open, commutative, and sound relationships between the employees, the union, and the payroll and HR department.Ensure all third-party reports and remittances are prepared, completed fully, and remitted 100% of the time.Prepare, reconcile, remit period end and year end related documents such as but not limited toT4s or ROEs. Prepare and reconcile all additional payroll or HR reports as requested based on current or future payroll data.Review, determine, and implement a new third party payroll system to better manage and streamline current payroll downfalls.Create new and adjust current payroll and HR processes to streamline current tasks and responsibilities.Manage union employee benefits and retirement plan including related remittances.Manage all WCB injury claims and assist employees in there return to work program.Manage, track, and update employee information, HR reports, and internal tracking systems.Assist HR and Operations with scheduling, seniority inquiries, collective agreement understanding, and others tasks as requested.
