Illinois attorney with more than 10 years of experience focusing her practice on complex family law matters including divorce, parentage, legal separation, child support, pre and post-marital agreements, and pre and post-judgment litigation. Kiley formed a new partnership with James Laraia, creating the the firm of Laraia & Whitty, P.C. in July, 2019. In addition to family law, Kiley handles matters involving creditor negotiations, bankruptcy, and estate planning. Kiley previously served as the managing attorney for the family law division of Lillig & Thorsness, Ltd. in Oak Brook. She has also been a Certified Guardian Ad Litem for the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in DuPage County since 2011.Kiley was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in 2009. She has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for both the Northern District of Illinois and the Central District of Illinois. Kiley is the Second Vice President of the DuPage County Bar Association. She is a member and Past President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.Kiley Whitty has been recognized for her outstanding qualifications and ervice to her clients on several occasions having been selected as an Illinois SuperLawyers Rising Star in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as being named an Emerging Lawyer in 2015-2019 by Illinois Leading Lawyers.
