Kiley designs and scales philanthropic initiatives for impact. She partners with practitioners, philanthropists, researchers and policymakers to lift up the learning and best practices that can drive positive change. In her current role as Director of Strategy and Learning at the Irene & George Davis Foundation, she is excited to be growing and amplifying the effect of a diverse portfolio of philanthropic investments to improve the lives of children and families. Kiley has extensive experience in the field, from classroom teaching, to researching and evaluating philanthropic initiatives, to working directly as a funder. She was the Policy Director of the Bay Area School Reform Collaborative (BASRC) in San Francisco, an operating foundation launched via the Hewlett Annenberg Challenge. While there she authored “After the Test" focused on how schools can use information to improve, and presented findings to members of Congress at the Aspen Institute’s Congressional Program. Kiley was also a Program Officer at the Stupski Foundation in the Bay Area, researching and supporting a national giving strategy. In Kiley’s time at Stanford University, she was a Senior Researcher at the research center PACE, Policy Analysis for California Education, where she partnered with funders, practitioners, and policymakers to make improvements to grant-funded initiatives.
