Worked alongside the senior engineer as a trainee engineer and 3D CAD specialist using IRONCAD. Liaised with various factories within the company group. My focus was to refine the production process at one site and develop a new product at another site.

Designed and developed a new product, from sketching, to developing CAD for manufacturing.Worked independently as a product designer using Solidworks and MS Office programmesCollaborated with management to produce safety barriers for the construction industry.

Stars and Heroes, Longton, Staffordshire 1 Month Placement 2010I work on various projects during my placement. From packaging design and Insert leaflets to Webpage backgrounds and logos. All the work was produced in either adobe illustrator or photoshop.

Staffordshire University Arts Media and Design, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire 2009 -2010As a Student mentor I was responsible for working at open days as an advisor to potential arts media and design students, as well as being a mentor to L1 Product design students giving them advise when required.

The staffordshire mountaineering club required a small extension to their current climbing wall, I managed this project, dealing with the club, sports centre and students union to decide on what was needed, contractor choice and the project was successfully completed by June 2009

I worked for Alison's Catering Part time, working either in the kitchens preparing and making up the products to sell or out delivery driving and dealing with customers. In my final year with Alison's Catering I was commissioned to bring the companies brand image up to date with new label, business card and letter head design.
