As deputy I managed and motived a team of 8-10 in a split site warehouse (20 miles apart) environment where goods were also shunted between the 2 sites to meet customer demand. This used to be 1 in 8000 items it is currently at 1 in 18000 items. This is down to high standards of items being put on the shelf, regular stocktakes and checking employees are picking the right items.• Cut overall stock loss from -0.25% to being a balanced 0% for the year 2012/13. This has been done by the introduction of regular stock takes and the checking of stock that has had its balance adjusted. Keeping an accurate stock file enables head office to know exactly what we have on our shelves so there are not invisible assets in the company.
