Responsible for product and process quality for a distributor and manufacturer of passive electronic components. Successfully prepared for and implemented ISO 9002 registration in 10 months and QS-9000 in 6 months. Registration scope included corporate headquarters and warehouse operations in El Paso, Guadalajara and Toronto. Two direct and 20 indirect reports. Reduced complaints by 60% and order fill errors by an order of magnitude. Improved vendor parts quality from 330 to 20 defects per million.
