About Killu Kaareste

A true believer in e-Estonia and standing strong for non-IT women employees to start their careers in the field of IT.Former dance teacher, now an aspiring junior developer with dedication and persistence to succeed in the field of software development. COVID-crisis was the catalyst to change my years-long interest in ICT sector to a career and I have been on this track for all upcoming years now.I started with IT support training in "Work In Tech" program, but felt soon that I want to dig deeper. Finishing this program gave me the push forward to start the Software Developer course in Vali IT – Estonia’s most well-known dedicated programming course.My pre-IT career has given me a vast experience in working with students as a teacher, as I have taught hundreds of children and adults alike.I’ve been in numerous situations, where this experience has guided me through situations where skills of leadership and high stress tolerance are needed.I am used to working in goal-oriented mindset and taking responsibility.My IT-studies are focused on Java programming language and have also introduced me GoLang and Python.
