The overall improvements in portfolio governance, project management execution and annual readiness I led enabled the business to accelerate achievement of its strategy and growth goals. These efforts directly contributed to the largest year of membership growth with minimal member disruption. I served as an influential leader with the organization’s highly time compressed pharmacy benefit transition. Both roles were part of Cigna’s Integrated Medical Services which includes Commercial and Government (Medicare, Medicaid, Under 65 Individual. Products include Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D Pharmacy, Individual Medicare and variety of Individual Supplemental). I hosted the first ever and highly regarded Women and Leadership programs; each program with over 95% approval ratings. Our panel discussions and coffee talks gave women insights and connections with other more senior and influential women in the organization. These programs also showed the clear commitment the senior leadership team placed on advancing women.

As Chief Operations Officer, I built a new business process outsourcing team and model to deliver end to end solutions for Medicare Advantage plans. For the first nine months in this role, I led the successful transition and transformation of the company. I also improved the operational performance for the SaaS business servicing over 1.8 M Medicare, Medicaid and ACO enrollees.

Over the span of six (6) years, CatalystRx was acquired and became known as CatamaranRx. Catamaran then was acquired by OptumRx. • As the Vice President, Business Operations, Health Plan and PBM Segment, Optum Rx (2015-2016) I resolved operational issues for the market segment covering 20+ M in Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and Health Exchange lives. • As the Vice President, Business Operations, MCO Segment at CatmaranRx (2012-2015) I led the integration, management and performance of complex, highly visible acquisitions and large managed care client contracts and relationships. I served as a key member of Catamaran’s contract negotiating team and directed the multi-year transition of Cigna’s pharmacy business, the organization’s largest win in 2013. I successfully executed a number of transitions for this client including the transition of over 2+M Medicare lives, the organization’s most complex transition. • As the Chief Operating Officer, FutureScripts (“FS”) at CatalystRx, (2010-2021) I developed the strategy and executed the transition of FS to Catalyst as well as established FS as a separate division within Catalyst. I had full p/l accountability and surpassed all financial and operational goals within a few months post transition. FS was Catalyst’s first acquisition of this size and complexity.

I identified key strategic opportunities for a coalition of community health centers, a behavioral health firm and health plans that led to improved performance for each client. Areas of focus included: contract management, pharmacy, disease management, and behavioral health.

Prior to 2009, I held various leadership positions for BCBSMA, MetroWest Medical Center and provider organizations. During my years at BCBSMA, I was promoted four (4) times and while at MetroWest Medical Center, I was promoted seven (7) times.An examples from my tenure at BCBSMA was, as the Vice President, Contracted Health and Wellness Services, I set and oversaw the strategic development, implementation and performance of the organization’s outsourced health management programs. These programs, which included behavioral health, pharmacy and disease management, improved member health and resulted in 3:1 improvement in ROI.
