I was responsible for managing the day to day operations, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, counseling and directing staff to maximize productivity, ensuring compliance with the MED and Metrc, and hiring/firing. I was also the point of contact for potential and current customers and negotiated service contracts.

I represented child protective services in NJ in child abuse/neglect cases which required, or potentially required, court intervention. My main responsibilities included assisting the client develop a strategy for court intervention and counseling them on relevant law and policy. I also provided supervision to the client to ensure compliance with court orders which also required daily communication with the courts and opposing counsel. I appeared in court for child protective service hearings several times a week and had the opportunity to argue before an Appellate court panel. I also developed the ability to write clearly and persuasively by drafting trial court and appellate briefs.
