The overall aim of my research was to study the utility of biological markers to indices of frailty for risk prediction in the elderly.

I studied the role of dynamic magnetic resonance imaging in the evaluation of tumour response to preoperative concurrent radio-chemotherapy for advanced breast cancers, in a context of a prospective phase II study.I examined prognostic factors among patients with hepatic metastasis from choroidal malignant melanoma.

I was involved on a rapid health assessment in Marial Lou, South Sudan: retrospective mortality and morbidity survey, Access to health care, Measles vaccination coverage.I evaluated the Médecins Sans Frontières rapid psychological support to Palestinian civilians during November 2000 and January 2006.

I managed projects on risks related to drug consumption, especially in the antidepressant use among children and adolescents and suicide attempts and deaths, in the menopausal hormone replacement therapy and cancer risk.I prepared summaries of documents on safety issues related to drug consumption for the chairperson of pharmacovigilance working party of the committee for medicinal products for human use at EMEA, on monthly basis.I evaluated risk management plans deposited by the pharmaceutical firms.I took part in a specific thinking about the pharmaco-epidemiologic studies to set up, especially in use of some drugs as marker of potential epidemics.

I studied factors correlated with disclosure of HIV infection, with late HIV diagnosis and therapeutic failure in the French Antilles and French Guiana from the VESPA Study.

I provided healthcare to patients.I also worked in an anonymous and free screening centre for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

I trained health professionals on HIV/AIDS, other STIs and contraception. I took part in activities of Information and prevention of HIV/AIDS, other STIs and contraception in secondary and high schools.I evaluated actions on information and prevention concerning health risks that took place in an art gallery and in a space of reception, listening, information and orientation intended for teenagers.
