•Calculate renewal rates for complex group cases based on thorough analysis of the group's experience, industry, location, size, and demographic nature•Proposes rates and terms for group prospects, utilizing a combination of other carrier experience, demographic data, and manual rates•Evaluate, price and propose rates for Level-Funded and Traditional Stop Loss prospects, including specific and aggregate benefits•Manage plan designs within underwriting guidelines for multiple product lines•Calculate and prepare Annual Settlements for our existing Refunding block of business•Build and maintain relationships with account managers, brokers, and clients to ensure growth and retention•Perform post-sale reviews, including managing the sold case process and paperwork•Assist with training and act as a resource for other underwriters

• Extract and analyze data from SAS to determine appropriate Stop Loss reserves• Extract and analyze data for our refunding groups to determine a Rate Stabilization Reserve (RSR)• Research and analyze High Dollar claim cases to determine an appropriate reserve • Perform monthly reporting items including determining Medicaid Rx accruals, XOB reserve, lag calculations, allocating, booking, and preparing summaries for IN state lead to present to the Finance and Actuarial business partners

• Assisted with the development of the Data Repository and Actuarial Memorandum used for SG Rate Filings• Prepared the Part 1 Form required by HHS for all of the KY Association Filings and a few SG Filings• Assisted Central pricing teams by validating trend and other factors from WellQuote to their FARM tool
