10 month Administrative Assistant. Being an Administrative Assistant at Hastings Elementary School was my absolute favorite job ever. I enjoyed the fast pace; constant multi tasking; relationship building with students, staff and families; constantly improving my technology skills; making the school a welcoming, comfortable, happy place for children and adults. Qualities that describe myself are : organized, personable, happy, welcoming, attentive to others, problem solver, great listener, able to adapt to change and new situations, excellent communicator, professional, and always willing to learn. -Assistant to School Principal and performed any task that was given to me.-Managed the daily school operation including staff, parent, and student communication.-Daily interactions with school faculty, administration, district staff, and the community.-Managed staff absences and substitute teachers; proficient in Frontline.-In charge of Free & Reduced Lunch program. -Helped organize events to boost staff morale and communication.-Served on School Safety Board.

-Developed library lesson plans which engaged and promoted the love of reading for Kindergarten through Third Grade students.-Developed first library program for the Westborough Early Childhood Preschoolers.-Collaborated with classroom teachers to provide library lessons which matched their curriculum.

-Followed the lesson plans left by the staff member who was absent, and /or followed the directions of school staff.-Supported students in achieving lesson goals while maintaining classroom behavior.-Developed creative and catchy ways to keep student's attention.-Covered short term and long term staff absences.
