With a background in finance, I launched my career in the private sector before making the transition into the public sector, working in multiple leadership roles on Wandsworth Council, including Deputy Leader, and as a member of the Board of Trustees in organisations such as First Touch and Battersea Arts Centre. I ensure organisations can handle and mitigate against reputational, regulatory, financial and data risks. I embed robust risk frameworks and processes, and elevate awareness across levels, building resilience. I am accustomed to operating under intense scrutiny and am able to strengthen governance and provide audit oversight. As a confident communicator, I have spoken at many events, contributed to multiple panels and conducted interviews with external media outlets. I am comfortable lobbying policy and decision-makers, including the UK Government, across various issues, influencing outcomes and driving change, especially in times of crisis. I am passionate about sustainability, developing strategic visions that support the attainment of Net Zero targets, and interleaving these with other areas, such as the decarbonisation of pension schemes. I promote regeneration and have played a leading part in many rejuvenation initiatives, such as the Battersea Power Station Project.
