Associate Director For Technology ServicesSpringfield College Apr 2015 - Jan 2022Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs (AVPAA) and the Director for the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (CETLS), provided educational technology for technology integration in course design. Significant responsibilities include but are not limited to leadership in expanding online and hybrid courses (currently four programs and numerous courses for online/hybrid/remote programs). Springfield College was approved to expand online programs, and the reports were all accepted with accreditation continued from NECHE. Other responsibilities included working with the AVPAA to submit and receive approval for the SARA agreement to support our online courses on our regional campuses. Another successful effort includes developing successful working relationships with Department Chairs in the scheduling of regional and online courses (six campuses) and online programs. The design and implementation of quality control and continual improvement processes for courses to ensure student satisfaction and success. The science of learning continues to drive the design and course improvement. Moving from a highly manual process, collaboration with the office of institutional research resulted in a more automated process to support faculty engagement and identify areas where we can increase student engagement.. -
