Lead the development and implementation of the Company’s human resource strategy in order to successfully align and execute business strategies. Serve as primary HR Business Partner on day to day HR activities for ~ 450 employees and executives across the United States and Canada, including staffing, benefits administration, compensation, training, coaching and development.

Used in-depth HR theory and practice to plan and implement programs, policies, and procedures relating to all phases of Human Resources activities within assigned territory, including thirteen field office operations from Bakersfield to Nevada in a Teamsters Local 350 Union environment. Consulted with managers and supervisors on various topics, including organizational design, strategic planning, performance management, change management, recruitment, talent development, and employee relations issues relating to employee performance and conduct, sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, etc.

Partner with the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Legal Officer, and their senior leadership teams, to establish workforce strategic plans and objectives in alignment with business strategies. Drives company-wide programs and initiatives including workforce planning, talent management, organizational change, process improvement, etc. Understands the needs of the business to identify creative solutions and provide recommendations. Influence and support operational objectives and work plans.
