I'm Kim, a global citizen with roots in the UK and the Netherlands who is now firmly planted in Hout Bay, South Africa.My journey has been shaped by a passion for helping others, thanks to my childhood and amplified by learning the true needs in South Africa after arriving here in 1996. After years of personal growth, entrepreneurial success, and volunteer work in Victim Support, as well as mentoring teens and young adults, I co-founded the Amoyo Performing Arts Foundation in 2015. Amoyo was created to offer a safe space for children facing unimaginable challenges. We nurture resilience, courage, and self-respect to help them break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures, ONE CHILD AT A TIME.I believe in the power of arts and life skills to shape confident, emotionally intelligent individuals. Where better to start than with the children who need it most?As we approach our 10-year milestone, our biggest goal is to establish a training facility with a computer, coding, and study centre.
