    2018-present:Part of IBM's NOI Cloud Native Event Analytics (CNEA) team in area of development and support. This product provides event management for the IBM Cloud PAK Watson AIOps offering. My role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues with general cloud deployments of CNEA, as well as CNEA operational problems on a Red Hat OpenShift environment. Position involves both back-end development and direct customer contact to help guide them in using the new offerings.Prior to 2018:Developer in the IBM Cloud unit for the Network Manager component. Network Manager is network analysis software for managing complex networks. My primary focus is in the area of SNMP data collection. The collection engine utilizes SNMP to gather information from network devices. It performs threshold monitoring with the data according to policies established by the operators and then aggregates the data using an Apache Storm topology. The data is then stored for historical purposes in either a DB2 or Oracle database for use by our Reporting component.Network Manager is developed on Linux and AIX, written in C++ and Java with scripting in Perl and SQL. My involvement has been in all aspects of development: design, code, test, and troubleshooting field issues.
