Managed 12 direct reports, and 10 onsite and remote contractors and consultants as well as vendor relationships.In-sourced all web technology and built the team from the ground-up inclusive of budget proposals, vendor removal, cut-over plans, hiring 12 person team to both re-platform sites while maintaining legacy code. Defined the new technology footprint for websites going forward, utilizing industry standards and managed this new stack into production.I brought the team together to both create and maintain team-culture via empowering team members with the concept that “the team creates the team” through an all-hands-on-deck interview process, creation of core values, encouraging team trust, and peer reviews.My team introduced and adopted agile (scrum-based and kanban) and lean development concepts. And with my senior staff, we have created and persuaded stakeholders to utilize processes and workflows to define web request intake, the software development lifecycle, and the web methodology for working hand-in-hand with multiple teams and clients.
