Provides oversight and guides direction of the Office of Economic Development at OFTC which includes the Adult Education Division, Business & Industry Services Division, Continuing Education Division, Office of Safety Programs, and two state-of-the-art full service Conference Centers. The office of Economic Development provides a number of services to enhance a new and existing workforce. Customized training and safety training are available to business and industry seeking to enhance their current workforce or train new hires. Continuing Education for personal and professional development is also housed in the Office of Economic Development. Testing for job seekers is available through the WorkKeys Assessment and other professional licensure exams. As a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, OFTC serves a wide array of customers seeking their GED, post secondary education in an associates or technical degree or diploma, and business and industry.

The Archway Partnership is a University System of Georgia outreach platform facilitated by UGA to deliver a full range of higher education resources to address economic and community development issues.

Managed programs of both the Georgia Board for Physician Workforce and the State Medical Education Board to include 3 loan repayment programs, 1 scholarship program, 1 yearly recruitment conference, multiple small recruitment fairs yearly, and a physician job resource center. Served as public outreach liason for the Boards. Participated in yearly budget hearings with state Senate and House of Representative committees. Compiled data for Office of Planning and Budget relative to each budget yet. Administered and monitored any grant funding received by the SMEB. Worked jointly with state House and Senate leaders to pass legislation in 2009 expanding the scope of the State Medical Education Board's programs.
