Overall responsibility for managing the operations of both the development office and management office, which includes overseeing the management of the existing shopping center, the redevelopment of the site, the development and transition of the site retained by Vanprop and managing the development of the condominium projects.Vanprop Investments Ltd is currently in the process of developing a master plan that will guide the phased redevelopment of Lansdowne Mall. The vision for the plan is to establish a vibrant heart for downtown Richmond in a transit-oriented, sustainable, mixed-use and residential community with generous public amenities for both the new residents and City of Richmond at large. The project will see the development of 4.5 million square feet of new floor area, including over 700,000 square feet of new retail and office space and 3.8 million square feet of residential floor area.

Primary Responsibilities are Development, Leasing, Marketing, Operations, Asset Management and Talent Development within the Shopping Mall Business Unit. Drive growth and profitability through development and operations.

Overall responsibility for all aspects of the company's performance and balance sheet, as well as, key client relationships. Key contributions include: merging and transforming the organization operationally and culturally, integrating two privately held companies to form Triovest, corporate restructuring, selection of new leadership team, head office relocation and development of the first Triovest strategic plan.

Responsible for global operations, leasing, property services, development and asset management. Key contributions: leading the consolidation of three subsidiaries of La caisse de depot et placement du Quebec into Ivanhoe Cambridge, creating a program of operational excellence – including facilitating a program of cultural integration, enacting a major philosophical shift from “asset trader” to an “asset operations” platform, aligning leasing standards, reporting standards and growth objectives and creating a focus on customer service.

Overall responsibility for the financial performance of the international organization. Key contributions: significant expansion of the overall asset base by $2B (CAD) - achieved by implementing an aggressive growth strategy- primarily focused on high quality regional and super regional shopping centers, successfully flattened the organization’s structure and decentralized the approval process- creating an environment of faster decision making and greater accountability.

Responsible for all aspects of the operating business, including office and retail leasing, property management, design and construction, development, marketing, tenant relations and service quality. Key contributions: Implemented a development program which reinvested in core strategic assets - $3.9B (CAD) over a three year period, and standardized financial operations and leasing processes. For two years during my operating tenure, I acted as interim President and CEO.
