Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Kim began her acting career at the age of 21, landing a lead role on her very first audition. Years later, she embarked on a co-writing journey that would lead her to win the Kairos Prize at the Movie Guide Awards in L.A. for Best Uplifting Screenplay, Searching For Sheida, adapted from Anne Cattaruzza's novel of the same name, which Kim also translated from French to English. Kim is the editor of Mia's Child, winner of the Lonely Wolf 2022 International Film Festival in London for Best Feature Screenplay. Her musical career as a performer and singer/songwriter has led her to share the stage with performers such as Tito Jackson, former member of The Jackson 5, and Don Felder, former guitarist of The Eagles. Her latest release is called Brand New Day.
