I am the Sales Manager for the Wilsonart Tampa Metro.As a child, my father began a custom laminate cabinet fabrication company. I spent many a hot Florida summer helping in the shop, cleaning cabinets, using a router, learning a bit, and absorbing the work ethic that my parents held. I have fond memories of my father being a part of our local Sertoma Club and together as a family we would attend local events to raise money and support our community. I don’t quite have my father’s gift of gab, but I enjoy meeting new people and linking contacts together. Honestly, that’s what brought me to be part of the NKBA council and I like to think that decision would’ve made my dad proud! Carrying on the legacy of the family business wasn't a task I was drawn to but there is something about the Industry that feels like home. I have accumulated over 20 years in the Industry, in varying positions with companies both large and small. By having experience on both sides of the coin, I understand and can relate, more than most, to the needs of those that I serve and how Wilsonart’s offering fits those needs. You’ll find that I am pretty active on LinkedIn, sharing and promoting frequently, I believe it’s such a great networking tool. In my spare time, I enjoy a camping trip where the cell service is spotty at best. The chance to truly unplug is so good for the soul! However, there is nothing more satisfying than to spend time with my family, friends and two adorable grandchildren who like to keep this grandma on her toes!
