Not only has this helped improve my knowledge, understanding, experience and skills in the Gaming sector, I’ve recognised the importance about having to stay agile to adapt to fast changing regulations and the challenges this presents businesses operating internationally who are focused on customer centricity.I have previous experience working in Financial Services, both within the Provider and Advisory sectors, where I have noticed clear similarities in how regulation changes can impact and affect market growth. At times it can prove challenging trying to know what to expect or requirements needed to progress, which makes the personal growth side of things that more interesting.Throughout my career I have managed to build long-lasting trusted rapports with diverse professionals, industry leaders, businesses and people from all walks of life generally. As per career background, I initially started in HR and Hotel Management before moving into financial services with Zurich International and later AES International, a global IFA network. Originally from Zimbabwe, I grew up in South Africa and have lived abroad in Singapore, UK, Dubai, Isle of Man and now Malta. This has helped develop my appreciation of working internationally and being exposed to different cultures, which at times can present additional complexities when operating cross-jurisdictionally and the importance of being respectful and transparent when communicating.I’m proud of my achievements to date and looking forward to continuing this fascinating journey…
