Process all aspects of a complex piece rate based payroll system that also has team members that are paid based on a piece rate and wage determination rate combination. High knowledge of the Service Contract Act (SCA) and all aspects of in-house payroll processing. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Job Costing and bank reconciliation are some of the many other tasks I have performed in my time here. The company is currently implementing a new HRIS/Payroll system but there is an in-house payroll/job costing database that I manage as well.

Responsible for all aspects of medical billing for a small rural hospital with a billing staff of 3 people. Also acted as the General Accountant with duties that included bank reconciliation, debt collection, monthly general ledger entries and reconciliation and the yearly audit items that resulted in the hospital receiving additional funds based on Medicare participation. This was the 2nd time I worked at the hospital, having first been hired to act as a part time accounting clerk. That position grew to learning all aspects of the hospital finance team.
