Employee Benefits implementation and service* Assist in the development and implementation of a client’s employee benefits package.* Prepare communication materials for initial enrollments, new hires, terminations and renewals.* Work closely with employees to implement benefits.* Prepare and work with employers HR department to monitor and verify accurate payroll deductions.* Review renewals and recommend changes.* Research, analyze and advise employers of changes in the laws that may impact them.* Responsible for day to day service issues.* Ability to act as a liaison between the insurance carrier and client to resolve issues, place insurance or assist with the claims settlement process.* Strong knowledge and understanding of insurance regulations and contracts including small group plan design.* Familiar with COBRA, FMLA, ERISA and other related state and federal regulations.* Familiar with HIPAA and privacy laws and the need to maintain client confidentiality.Individual/Family Insurance plan sales and service
