A long-time champion of the arts & creative expression, I bring my experience to Otis College of Art & Design in the newly created role of Corporate Development & Partnerships that will bring new opportunities to the college & the students through meaningful and beneficial partnerships that serve all in empowering the next generation of diverse creative talent entering the creative economy with degrees/hands on experience in Fashion Design, Toy Design, Product Design, Game & Entertainment Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design and Illustration and more.I am a senior music & entertainment executive with a wide breadth of creative, strategic marketing, & partnership experience across various aspects of the music and cable television business. At AEG & now AXS TV I lead Music Partnerships and Talent Relations. I am a personal development coach for creatives and for the past five years have had the honor to support middle school girls at GALS LA in social emotional intelligence learning as success coach & creator/leader of multi day retreats.I tap into my core strengths of crafting strategy and vision, building partnerships, connecting the dots, with exceptional execution. I bring my creative thinking, & inspired leadership to projects in music, entertainment, media, technology, and now in my new role in higher education. My career has spanned from management of iconic bands Rush and Van Halen to EVP Marketing & Artist Development for Republic Records, to the manager of multi–Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste strategically building his cross-over career and bringing him to the stage as band leader of Stephen Colbert. At Republic, I crafted and led award-winning campaigns for such global icons as Prince, The Who, Rolling Stones, and the likes of Amy Winehouse, Jack Johnson, and Florence and The Machine, empowering their authentic nature from which I created a powerful image and brand positioning and was instrumental in building the label from scratch into the leading contemporary label. For over a decade, I have worked with live entertainment giants, AEG Presents and AXS TV. I was the host of AEG’s global podcast 10 Minutes With… interviewing AEG’s top senior executives. My consulting clients span from VR technology start-up 8i, and gaming unicorn Scopely, to curating and co-producing NewStory in conjunction with the Festival of Books for the LA Times. I am a 4-year graduate of the University of Santa Monica’s world-renowned certificate program in spiritual psychology and emotional intelligence including facilitation and workshop design.
