Account management of new and renewal Lawyers Professional, Employment Practices, Management and Cyber liability insurance for mid-size law firms.

I worked at USI (formally Bertholon Rowland) for 9 years. I started as the New Business Coordinator for the specialty department and dedicated my time placing LPL insurance for small law firms, both in the admitted and non-admitted marketplace. I also worked on MPL, EPLI, D&O and Corporate Counsel policies. As my department's book continued to grow, it was necessary for me to take on some of the renewals and I managed a caseload of between 30-50 renewals per month.

I started at Marsh in 1997 as a professional liability coordinator, a title that wasn't clearly defined and allowed me begin my journey into Professional Liability Insurance for both Lawyers and Accountants. When the need for an underwriter arose for an APL underwriter, I again volunteered. When the need for an LPL underwriter arose, yet again, I volunteered. I soaked up everything I could. I continued underwriting all three programs for five or so years until the opportunity to be a wholesale broker on our LPL book presented itself. I got my license and that's when my true passion for LPL insurance ignited. Show less
