I've been employed with the federal government for 26 years, first in Administration, then in front end services with Employment Insurance, and presently hold a position as a payment services officer for Employment Insurance.The changes in technology, as well as the work itself has made huge strides over the years and I'm happy to say that although change can sometimes be a challenge, the organization continues to move forward and initiate positive growth. Challenges are always present in an organization as large as this one, but the people that work within this structure are all very capable and remain constantly determined to create better programs and services for our clients.Personally, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and my two loveable labradoodles, who have an avid passion for swimming in the nearby Thompson River. We also enjoy exploring the various parks and lakes in the Kamloops area, which provide a never ending source of fun for all of us.I'm starting to think about retirement these days, but plan to continue in my present job for the foreseeable future as I truly enjoy the work that I do.
