Continued efforts on invasive plant control in the park. Involved in developing and modifying management plans, reviewing current literature on effective control of invasive plants, mapping known populations and locating new invasions with GPS, incorporating treatments and progress in GIS, and treating current invasions using chemical and mechanical techniques.

I worked with a team of six interns and two educators in teaching campers (4-6 years old) about the environment and conservation through hands-on projects and games. Some duties included lesson planning and evaluation of programs. I was also responsible for animal husbandry and presenting animals to campers. This included an American bullfrog, a box turtle, a hedgehog, a corn snake, an African millipede, a bearded dragon, and a rosy boa.
